Who is Food For Thought?

Murielle Lona and Bart Seuntjens joined forces and founded Food For Thought together to address a niche in the events market : exclusive sessions on socially relevant themes in inspirational surroundings with Murielle's Mediterranean touch.

I define myself as a passionate and authentic woman. Each day, I enjoy life and I want to share my passions with you.

For a long time I was an economist, specialising in Public and Health Economics. During my studies, I had the chance to go to Kerala, India, where I did a beautiful piece of work on the condition of women and their position in Indian society. This stay was an important step in my life.

“Life is too short”. I decided to quit and to find a job which would fit with who I am really, deep inside. I like to meet and discover people, to talk to them, to share my enthusiasm. I like also to write and to create…

In 2008, my business “Food For Thought” which basically stands for Intellectual Entertainment, was born ! The fresh logo with a lot of warm colors represents my “Food For Thought”.

I organise my own “Food For Thought” events. In addition to this, I work in partnership with the media sector and other companies, companies which want to communicate with my fresh and Mediterranean touch. Writing is also one of my hobbies and I have launched a blog www.blogfoodforthought.be. I invite you to travel with me on my blog. My first novel will be published in 2010.

During my free time, I like to spend magic moment with my kids, Boris, Mats and Ciara. I have Italian roots. It is why I like to create a convivial atmosphere with nice people, delicious food, good wine and some music. My mother tongue is French and I live in Tervuren. I speak Dutch and English.

Bart Seuntjens

Bart, my business partner, is an innovative professional and a seasoned consultant. Bart works for a respected European consulting company where he is partner.

He contributes an excellent mix of advisory, organisational and managerial skills to the Food For Thought team.

He has a broad interest in people and cultures. Bart is Dutch and he lived in Belgium, heart of Europe, for almost 20 years. He did travel a lot for his professional carrier and for his private sake.

In 2007, Bart published his debut novel ‘Cliché’ under the pseudonym Harry Jones. Cliché is a captivating story about a successful businessman’s juggle to combine a demanding career with his family life, while staying true to his personal values, beliefs and dreams.
